How does Magic Moments work?
It's simple! You choose a character (Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and more), tell us your child's name, and pick a time. Your child gets a real phone call from that character โ a magical, personalized conversation they'll never forget.
- Create an account and add your child's profile
- Choose a character and call length (5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes)
- Pay securely through our checkout
- Receive your call โ either the character calls you, or you call a special number
- Get a transcript emailed to you after the call so you can relive the magic!
How much does it cost?
Calls are priced per minute based on the character. Standard pricing is $1.00 per minute, so:
- 5-minute call โ $5.00
- 10-minute call โ $10.00
- 15-minute call โ $15.00
- 20-minute call โ $20.00
You can also add an audio recording of the call for $2.99, so you can listen back anytime.
What's the difference between "Call Me" and "I'll Call In"?
"Call Me" (Outbound) โ The character calls your phone at the scheduled time. You'll receive an email letting you know when to expect the call, and the caller ID will show the character's location (like "North Pole" for Santa!). Great for surprising your child.
"I'll Call In" (Inbound) โ After purchase, you'll receive a special local phone number. Your child can call this number anytime and be connected directly to the character. Perfect for families who prefer to call on their own schedule.
Do I need to create a child profile?
Yes โ we need your child's first name so the character can greet them personally during the call. You can also add their age, interests, and special notes that the character will incorporate into the conversation, making it even more magical and personalized.
You can create profiles for multiple children, each with their own details.
Why do you ask for my child's zip code?
If you choose the "I'll Call In" option, we use the zip code to assign a phone number with a local area code. This way, the number looks familiar and your child (or you) won't hesitate to call it. If we can't find a number in your area code, we'll assign the closest available one.

Is the character really talking to my child?
Yes! The character is powered by advanced AI voice technology that creates a real-time, interactive conversation. It's not a recording โ the character responds to what your child says, asks follow-up questions, and adapts the conversation. It feels like a genuine, magical conversation.
What if my child gets shy or doesn't talk much?
That's completely normal! The characters are designed to be warm, encouraging, and patient. If your child is quiet, the character will gently prompt them, ask easy questions, and share fun stories to keep the conversation going. Short calls (5 minutes) are great for shy children โ they can always call again!
Is the conversation safe for children?
Absolutely. Safety is our top priority. Every character has built-in guardrails:
- Characters never ask for personal information (address, school, phone number)
- If a child brings up inappropriate topics, the character gently redirects
- Conversations are age-appropriate and positive
- Call transcripts are available to parents for review
- All AI interactions are programmed for safe, wholesome fun
Will the character know my child's name?
Yes! When you create your child's profile, their first name is shared with the character. The character will greet your child by name โ "Ho ho ho! Hello Emma!" โ making the experience feel truly personal and magical. You can also add notes about your child's interests for an even more personalized conversation.
Can I listen in on the call?
We recommend staying nearby during the call, especially for younger children, in case they need help. If you're using an outbound call ("Call Me"), you can simply stay on the line. For inbound calls, we recommend being nearby while your child talks on the phone.
After every call, you'll receive a full transcript via email so you can see exactly what was said.
๐ Scheduling & Call Timing
How quickly can the character call?
If you choose "Call Me" and select "Call ASAP," the character will call within approximately 5 minutes. You can also schedule a call for a specific date and time up to 30 days in advance.
For "I'll Call In" (inbound), you receive a phone number right after purchase and can call anytime โ no scheduling needed!
What happens if we miss the call?
If you selected "Call Me" and miss the call, we'll automatically try again up to 5 times with increasing intervals (1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes). You'll also receive an email letting you know the call didn't connect, with a link to reschedule from your dashboard.
Can I reschedule a call?
Yes! You can reschedule from your dashboard at any time before the call takes place. Just go to "My Dashboard," find your order, and click the reschedule button. You can choose a new time or switch to "Call ASAP."
What time zone are the scheduled times in?
When scheduling, you can select your time zone from the dropdown. Available times are shown in your selected time zone. Calls are available from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM local time.
Do inbound call numbers expire?
Each inbound call number is active for your order's duration. After your call is complete, the number may be recycled for another family. You cannot call the same number again for a new order โ you'll receive a fresh number with each new purchase.

What payment methods do you accept?
We process payments through Shopify's secure checkout, which accepts all major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other payment methods depending on your region. We never see or store your credit card information โ it's handled entirely by Shopify.
Can I get a refund?
If you haven't made the call yet, you can cancel your order from the dashboard and receive a free call credit to use anytime. If the call didn't connect or had technical issues, please contact us โ we'll make it right with a free replacement call or a full refund.

What if my order expires?
Orders that haven't been used within 30 days are automatically expired, and you'll receive an email notification. When you cancel an active order from your dashboard, you receive a free call credit that never expires โ so you can book a new call whenever you're ready, with no money lost.
๐ Transcripts & Recordings
How do I get the call transcript?
After every call, we automatically email you a formatted transcript of the full conversation. This includes everything your child said and everything the character said, laid out like a text message conversation. It's a wonderful keepsake!
You can also view transcripts anytime from your dashboard.
What is the audio recording add-on?
For an additional $2.99, you can add an audio recording of the entire call. After the call, you'll receive an email with a download link for an MP3 file. This link is valid for 7 days and allows up to 5 downloads โ enough for you, your partner, grandparents, and more!
Didn't add it at checkout? You can also purchase the recording after the call from your dashboard.
Why didn't I receive my transcript email?
Transcript emails are sent automatically within a few minutes after the call ends. If you don't see it:
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Search for emails from "Magic Moments"
- Make sure the email on your account is correct
- If it's been more than 10 minutes, contact us at support@magicmomentslab.app
๐ Privacy & Security
Is my child's information safe?
Yes. We take children's privacy very seriously:
- We collect only the minimum information needed: your child's first name, zip code (for local call numbers), and optionally their age and interests
- Call transcripts and recordings are only accessible to you, the parent/guardian
- We never use children's data for advertising or create behavioral profiles
- AI characters are programmed to never ask for personal information (address, phone number, school, etc.)
- You can request deletion of all data at any time

Can I listen to the call recording later?
Yes, if you purchased the audio recording add-on ($2.99). After the call, you'll receive an email with a secure download link. The recording is available for 7 days and can be downloaded up to 5 times. We recommend downloading it to your device for permanent safekeeping before it expires.

The character didn't call at the scheduled time
We automatically retry up to 5 times if a call doesn't connect. If you still haven't received a call, check:
- Is the phone number on your order correct? Check your dashboard to verify
- Is your phone on and in service?
- Are you in an area with good cell reception?
- Check your spam folder โ you may have missed the call notification email
If the problem persists, go to your dashboard to reschedule, or call our 24/7 support line at (786) 755-1839.
The inbound call number isn't working
A few things to check:
- Make sure you're dialing the exact number from your confirmation email โ each order has a unique number
- The number from a previous order may have been reassigned โ always use the number from your most recent order
- Check your dashboard for the correct phone number
- If the number still doesn't work, call our support line at (786) 755-1839 and we'll assign a new one right away
The call was very short or the character seemed to stop talking
The character is designed to match the call duration you purchased. If the conversation seems to end early:
- Check that you purchased the correct duration (5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes)
- Poor phone connection can sometimes cause early disconnections โ try calling from an area with better signal
- If your child stays silent too long, the character will naturally wrap up
If you believe there was a technical issue, call our support line at (786) 755-1839 and we'll arrange a replacement call.
I'm having trouble with the purchase / my order is stuck on "pending"
Your order is probably still processing. If it shows "pending" for more than a few minutes after payment, try refreshing your dashboard. If it still shows pending after 10 minutes, call our support line at (786) 755-1839 or email us at support@magicmomentslab.app with your order number and we'll sort it out right away.
I forgot my password
Click "Forgot your password?" on the login page and enter your email address. We'll send you a link to reset your password. The link expires after 1 hour for security.

How does the referral program work?
Share the magic! When you refer friends to Magic Moments, you both benefit:
- Go to your Referral Dashboard to get your unique referral link or QR code
- Share it with friends, family, or on social media
- When 3 friends sign up using your link, you earn 1 free 5-minute call
- There's no limit โ refer 6 friends, get 2 free calls, and so on!
Your free call credits never expire and are automatically applied at checkout.
Can I cancel my order and get my money back?
Yes! You can cancel any order from your dashboard before the call has taken place. When you cancel, you'll receive a free call credit that never expires โ it's automatically applied to your next purchase at checkout. No need to wait for a refund; the credit is instant.
If the call was already completed and you had a technical issue, please contact our support team and we'll make it right.
Where can I see my free call credits?
Your free call credits are shown on your dashboard at the top. They're also automatically applied during checkout when you purchase a new call, so you'll see the discount before you pay.
